90000 cattle/cows are killed in USA for the manufacture of ice creams every day. 5.That about
5 lakhs cattle/cows are killed every month in India for beef export &
leather (loss of 50 lakhs kilograms of farmyard manure every day).

most preservatives are made from animal fat . 7.That
our country’s Expenditure in leather industry and beef export is more than the
foreign exchange income every year apart from polling water and environment. 8.That
1.25 cores bio gas plants can be constructed in India but not even 10% of this
achieved.

in India we can save foreign exchange of Rs 10000/= cores a year.
10.That animal after killing hair bristles are
used in the making of hairbrushes, shaving brushes, boot polish brushes, wall painting brushes and
architect brushes etc. 11.That whales are killed to produce lipsticks
apart from other products. 12. That many
leading biscuits manufacturers declare that their product is 100% vegetarian
but some of the ingredients or processing aids such as proteolytic enzyme come mostly directly from animals (rennin,
tryssin, pepsin etc).

Similarly leading manufacturers of breakfast cereal use folic acid of B-complex
group (may be) of animal. 14.That
there are still 85 million vegetarians in India.
15.Even at this rate of killing cattle\bullock\cows in India if we want
to replace the bullock carts we require 55000 crores to produce machines .
16.That one cow is enough for one farmer of an acre of land. A cow@10 kg
of dung gives of 3600 kg in a year.

That merely on the dung yielding capacity a cattle\bullock\cows provides an
income of Rs20000/=per annum to its owner as against its food expenses of
around Rs 4000/= PA. Many Agriculture
universities have certified that
cattle of any age are never useless. 18.
That 30 ltrs of water is required for each kG of beef produced whereas as a
cattle require only 45 ltrs of water every day. 19.
That the deonar abattoir in Mumbai (slaughter house) uses 54 lakhs liters of
water everyday just to clean its floors.
